唐 长沙窑青釉褐绿彩茅庐纹执壶

高24.1cm，口径12cm，底径12.7cm

口沿外翻，粗颈，瓜棱形腹，前有多棱短流，后为弓形鋬。施青釉近底，釉透明清亮。流下腹部绘有茅屋，两侧为高耸入云的大树，其间浅描出一行飞雁，大有“一行白鹭上青天”之意境。茅庐为苦行僧人修练之所，在一些石窟壁画中可以见到，作画精细生动。

This ewer stands 24.1 cm high, with a mouth diameter of 12 cm and a base diameter of 12.7 cm.

It has a flared rim, a thick neck, and a lobed body. A short faceted spout extends from the front, with an arched handle at the rear. The glaze stops short of the base. A thatched hut is painted below the spout, flanked by tall trees. A line of flying birds is lightly rendered between them, creating a balanced and evocative composition. Such imagery is associated with reclusive life and religious retreat, themes also seen in cave temple murals. The decoration is finely executed and vivid.
